BCLC will be hosting this webinar session, co-presented by Harry P. Hatry and Mary K. Winkler of the Urban Institute. The webinar will focus on ways that donors (CSR programs and others) can evaluate the work of nonprofits in issue areas like disaster assistance and recovery, health and wellness, economic development, and education. It will provide suggestions for donors as to what can, and cannot be expected from the nonprofits, as well as the responsibilities of the donors themselves in obtaining valid evaluation information.

Don’t miss this rare opportunity to learn from the experts in performance measurement and program evaluation.

Harry P. Hatry is a Distinguished Fellow and Director of the Public Management Program for the Urban Institute in Washington, D.C. He has been an award-winning leader in developing performance management/measurement and evaluation procedures for federal, state, and local public and private agencies since the 1970s.

Mary Kopczynski Winkler is an expert in performance management in the Center on Nonprofits and Philanthropy at the Urban Institute.  Ms. Winkler is currently working on a number of capacity building projects to aid the nonprofit sector in performance management implementation, including PerformWell, a pilot study to develop common performance measures with out-of-school time grantees of the DC Children's Youth Investment Trust Corporation.
